WOAH, YOU'VE MADE IT THIS FAR... THANKS FOR LOOKING!
@braegenbeats the #SubconsciousDJ is nothing more than a personal journey, a curiosity. For many years, nearly every day, I've woken up with a song rattling around my head. So in June 2017 I decided to keep track of these songs by simply logging them each day on the Twitter machine, purely to share the love and the music. Some days are harder than others, there may just be a few obscure lyrics, a hook or a beat. But usually I can figure them out if they're obvious, if not then after Google search, or review of recent playlists (but not always), I end up finding a YouTube video and so share on Twitter.
This is purely a vanity site and not for profit in any way shape or form, it genuinely is just an egotistic experiment, one which truly fascinates me! The lack of repetition of these songs is also intriguing? But ultimately, how these songs find their way in to my subconscious is truly a testiment to the artists who create them. It's also really cool when one of the artists 'likes' a Tweet or sends a message ❤️
There are of course days when I can't find the source of the obcure clues I've been given to work with, and then there are the very rare days when there is nothing at all. A 'missed day'... always a sad day 😢
All songs are freely available on YouTube, in the very rare instance when I've not been able to find them on there, I've uploaded to my own YouTube channel (2x). All images are sourced directly from YouTube, I've simply resized them for use on this website. You can source YouTube thumbnails quite easily by using this link for Max Resolution (if available) https://i1.ytimg.com/vi/*place-youtube-video-id-here*/maxresdefault.jpg or the High Quality version https://i1.ytimg.com/vi/*place-youtube-video-id-here*/hqdefault.jpg if the max resolution isn't available, usually the case if the song is a few years old.
Should there be any problem with any of the content, please feel free to contact me at dj@braegenbeats.com and I will remove any offending material immediately.
There's a huge gap between June to December, I'm slowly working my way through updating these. I would also like to add 'buy now' buttons with links to the songs, but not sure on which platform is best? Apple Music, Spotify, even Amazon? In the meantime, full list can be found on the Twitter Machine @braegenbeats
I'll keep adding previous days, but with 421 since June 2017, it may take some time. Full list can be found on the Twitter Machine @braegenbeats =^..^=
